Kustom K9 Training

If your one of those home bodies, I have something fun for you to consider.  Indoors home agility.  With bad weather looming a lot in our area, hot-hot summers, and some pretty darn cold winters, doing things indoors with your dog has new meaning.

Utilize my six-hour program to get you started having fun indoors.  My program is very flexible, and is structured around your schedule, in your home.  The program is $300, with a house call fee of $10.00 per 15 minutes of travel time.  I am in Chesapeake, and can get to most cities in 30 to 45 minutes, including NC.  Contact me for more information.

If you love the out of doors, and can walk, then you can do agility.  You can work for titles or do it just for fun.  It is a great way to work on that bond with you and your dog.  Agility is the sport that is all motivational.  There is no discipline.  This kind of training is very motivational.  You can actually see the dog's mind working, and starting to look to you for direction.

I feel lucky, because I have the best place in the greater Tidewater area, and maybe further, right here in Chesapeake to do agility.  The training center is called "The Family Dog Club", and it is just that.  They have single, family and something for the kids.  I have known the owner/trainer Rita Phoenix for over ten years now, and started my quest for agility titles with her.  She is a wonderful instructor, and even offers her fantastic facility to my search dogs for training, free of charge, to do her part in this volunteer profession.

After your first two classes with her, she offers a really great agility club where you can come and go outside of classes to work on the equipment.  Also the equipment is the best there is.  This is a wonderful sport just for fun, and to assist in building your relationship with your dog.

I highly recommend The Family Dog Club on Centerville Turnpike.
