Baroque and Extremely Spanish lots of CHROME.......Peruvian Paso Professionally Show Trained by Master Trainer from Peru, Successful Broodmare, Top Bloodlines

There are limited breeders of this wonderful Spanish breed. Besides the Peruvian Paso Registry there are several other Spanish horse registries.  Due to my worsening allergies I will not be breeding any more so am offering my favorite foundation mare for sale.  This Spanish breed is considered rare, so finding a foundation quality mare at an affordable price is not easy.  At 15 hands she is bigger then most Peruvians, and can be bred down to include the new and upcoming market of Spanish Gaited Ponies with only a handful of breeders, with special Spanish/Gaited registries of their own, or bred up by breeding to a larger stallion or crossbred with TWH, Rockies, or Fox trotters.  The gait of this breed is second to none, and beside size, and gait, and breeding potiential, this mare has tons of Chrome and Flare.

The Peruvian Paso is considered the Cadillac of gaited horses.  They possess a four beat stepping pace similar to the Paso Fino, but with more stride, and the Peruvians are a larger bodied horse.  At present there are approximately 20,000 Peruvians in North America and only about 40,000 Peruvian horses in existence in the world.  This was in large due to Peru's tight breeding and export control to keep this breed clean with their original Spanish traits in tact.  The original Spanish horse brought to Peru was comprised of the Spanish Jennet, the Barb, the Friesian, and the Andalusian.

Estrella was bred by the famous owners of Pecan Valley Ranch (http://www.peruviandigest.com/anderson/home.htm).  They are very well known for their knowledge of this breed and Lucho Dapelo's family is one of the most well known and respected breeders/trainers in Peru.  They know the best.  The Dapelo's owned the famous stallion "Fenix", Estrella's sire (Known for his amazing beauty, flare and gait, all traits he passed on to his 237 direct sons and daughters - and 477 descendants!  On February 18, 2007, Fenix was euthanized due to a colic impaction.  At 28 years old, he was sound and otherwise healthy).  Fenix created a legacy and now is a chance to own one of his daughters, that are harder and harder to come by, to start your own breeding program or as the fanciest ride around.  When Estrella was a weanling, her full sister as a two year old sold for $14,000.  Both Jeanelle and Lucho at the time agreed that Estrella was equal or better then her sister. Estrella has many, many Champion siblings and relatives, to many to list.

I purchased her as a weanling, and sent her back as a long three year old for Lucho and Marco Dapelo to train (Master Trainers from Peru). She was fully trained in the bit, and shown briefly before being bred to Anibal (photos available), a champion just  imported from Peru, and then she returned home.  The entire breeding and foaling process was extremely smooth and she is a very good mother.

This mare is spirited (but has sense), which is what is known as brio, so she needs a confident rider with at advanced beginner skills.  She is a nice big robust mare with strong feet (never had shoes on), good with ears, loads, clips, ties, etc.  She is extremely flashy with four high white stockings, star, snip, and white on the lip, and belly (Sabino), and could probably qualify as a spotted.  She would easily breed color with the right stallion.  She is a black dun, with an unusual coat marking called reverse dappling, which she passed on to her foal.  Both can only be seen at certain times of the year due to her very black coat.  She has that classic long thick Spanish mane and tail that is wavy.  She has great lift, great termino, and amazing brio.  She will go until she drops.  She has a naturally high neck set and sets nice on the bit. She is just at or below 15 hands.  Very, very smooth, wonderful canter, and is so elegant under saddle.  This mare has what it takes to show, trail or breed.  She would also make a fancy parade mount.  I planned my foundation mares for many years and this mare is only for sale because my allergies to horses and hay have gotten bad, otherwise she would not be on the market.  She is regretfully for sale at a much lower price then she is worth.  Don't let this foundation quality mare pass you by.

Amazing Spanish Pony Peruvian Paso Horse

Don't miss this chance to start your own string of Spanish Horses or Ponies or ride that unique horse that no one else has!!

There are only a hand full of breeders breeding for the Spanish Pony. There are several good Gaited Pony and Spanish Pony registries.  Due to my worsening allergies I will not be breeding any more so am offering Daner for sale.  She is daughter to APV Estrella and was planned to be one of my foundation mares.  This is a true foundation quality mare, just now four years old and ready to start under saddle.  Not only is the breed rare, but it is rare to find a foundation quality Peruvian Paso horse that can qualify as a Spanish pony.  Because she is actually a horse, and her mother was larger, and her sire smaller, you have the unique ability to breed her for Spanish ponies or full size horses.  They just do not get any fancier then this.

"Dancer's" sire *Anibal, was imported the year Dancer was created, and he is a National Champion in Peru, and a great grandson of Sol De Paijan (a sought after Peruvian Paso bloodline).  Dancer was one of the stallion's first foals born in the US. It was not an easy task getting Anibal in the US.  He was spotted by Jeanelle and Lucho Dapelo, owners of Pecan Valley Ranch (http://www.peruviandigest.com/anderson/home.htm), during a visit at a famous Peruvian Paso Breeding Ranch in Peru.  Lucho's family are well known and respected breeders/trainers in Peru, and know the best when they see it. Anibal was not actually for sale and it took a lot of work to convince the owner to sell him with them retaining some breeding rights.  The Dapelo's also own the famous stallion "Fenix", Dancer's grandfather (Known for his amazing beauty, flare and gait, all traits he passed on to his 237 direct sons and daughters - and 477 descendants!  On February 18, 2007, Fenix was euthanized due to a colic impaction.  At 28 years old, he was sound and otherwise healthy. Fenix has created a legacy and now Anibal is already creating a name for himself in the US, and his get are already proven assets to any breeding program.

Dancer exhibits the best of her sire and dam (a Fenix daughter).  Dancer is a black dun, with prominent reverse dappling (rare), two white hind stockings, and a star. At certain times of the year her coat looks like a black leopard.  She has the ultimate extreme Spanish look, with a thick mane and tail, high set arched neck, and correct conformation.  She is of a more baroque style but with distinct refinement.  She has wonderful natural thread (good gait at different speeds), and also exhibits the ability to be five gaited.  She would make a extremely fancy driving horse.

Dancer got her name, because she floats across the ground, and prisses around like a dancer, and is also very athletic. She has a very cute chiseled face, good ground manners, and is curious to new things.  She is good with her ears, and feet, but she has not been trailered or clipped yet.  Dancer is physically mature now, and ready to start on the career of your choice.

This mare is unique in her size in that she is a nice size for an adult who does not wish to use a ladder to get on a horse, or for a child to grow up with.  Great for breeding  horses or Gaited Spanish Ponies. That is an exciting new market to consider.  If you are looking for a REAL  World Class mare for breeding , showing, pleasure, or driving, Dancer is the perfect choice.  I would not have Dancer up for sale except my allergies to horses have gotten bad.  She is regretfully for sale at a much lower price then she is worth. Don't let this foundation quality mare pass you by.
